OBR Unit #5 has something to celebrate!  The Belle Rive and Opdyke Attendance Centers have been named Illinois Spotlight Schools for 2011.  This marks the third year that Belle Rive has received this award from the Illinois State Board of Education.  This is the first year for Opdyke to be named to the list.  This year only 167 Illinois schools received the award.  Schools named with this honor demonstrate exemplary performance in closing the achievement gap, meeting high standards, and opening a world of opportunities for students no matter the economic status.
